TNPSC Group IV Examinations are notified by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for filling up 5451 posts and this notification was much expected by large number of youngsters for a long time.
The TNPSC Vide its Notification No 15/2016 (Advertisement No 445/2016) dated 09-08-2016 has issued the long awaited Notification for TNPSC Group IV Examinations for the following posts.
The TNPSC Group IV Examinations will be conducted during the month of November 2016 for the notified 5451 posts.
DETAILS OF POSTS:
1. JUNIOR ASSISTANT (NON SECURITY) - 2345 POSTS
2. JUNIOR ASSISTANT (SECURITY) - 121 POSTS
3. BILL COLLECTOR GRADE-I - 08 POSTS
4. FIELD SURVEYOR - 532 POSTS
5.DRAFTSMAN - 327 POSTS
6. TYPIST - 1714 POSTS
7. STENO TYPIST GRADE III - 404 POSTS.
TOTAL POSTS: 5451
SCALE OF PAY: Rs 5200-20200 + (2400 Grade Pay for all - 2800 Grade Pay for Steno typist only)
The Important Dates are as follows:
Date of Notification: 09-08-2016
Last date for Submission of applications: 08-09-2016
Last date for payment of fee through Bank or Post Office: 11-09-2016.
Date and Time of Written Examination : 06-11-2016. (10 am to 1 pm)
Age: 18 years minimum 32, 30, 35, (respective castes) maximum.
Scheme of Examination
Single Paper (SSLC Std)
General Studies (75 items) +
Aptitude Test (25 items) = 100 items +
General Tamil/General English (100 items)
Total = 200 Items.
Duration: 3 Hours, Maximum Marks 300, Minimum qualifying Marks for selection (all communities) 90.

Examination Fee: One Time Registration Fee Rs 50 + exam fee Rs 75
